Gillian Trotter ACA Bsc(Hons)

Jill brings more than 25 years of accountancy experience to the table for her clients. She first became a partner just four years into her career at the then Cook Alsford and Co which has grown to become Cook Trotter Limited.

When not helping clients save their hard earned cash, Jill who has two children, likes a good book, a trip out on the push bike and fancies herself as a bit of a thespian!

Anne Scaife ACA Bsc(Hons)

Anne has over 20 years experience having trained and practised in London before jetting off with HSBC for seven years to work in the Cayman Islands. When the call of Blighty became too strong to resist Anne packed up and came home to join Cook Trotter Limited in 2007.

A keen sportswoman, Anne juggles work with tennis, skiing and the odd triathlon.

Sue Darley AAT

Sue has been with the firm more than 20 years, guaranteeing the expertise that clients really appreciate. She specialises in management accounts, sole trader accounts, SAGE/payroll and VAT. Sue likes to work on site with our clients saving them even more time and provide that all important personal service.

Michael Lovell

Michael joined mum, Gillian, in the business in 2006 as a trainee accountant. He is currently training for his AAT qualification. When not crunching numbers Michael can be found at home spending time with his wife and three young daughters.

Vanessa Wright

Vanessa is our well travelled secretary. Having worked in New York and the Middle East she came to work with Cook Trotter on a temporary placement in 1991 and never left! When not busy in the business, Vanessa is even busier at home looking after her two children.

April Jones

April’s excellent secretarial skills were honed in numerous placements within the Civil Service all over the world before settling in Harrogate where she enjoyed working full time for a local business for over eighteen years. Although retired from full-time employment, April has worked for Cook Trotter on a part-time basis for 11 years.
